Sunday the students went to Accra Central Cultural Market. Hustlers were attacking us left and right. Almost everyone bought discounted Ghanaian soccer jerseys left over from the African Cup. There were a lot of wooden carvings and jewlery. Damon and Cavlin bought two huge Djembe (i have no idea how to spell it) drums that can't even fit in their tubs.
Later that night we had a welcome party at the place we were staying in at Accra. It was amazingly fun. The catered food was delicious, and we danced the night away with some local Ghanaians. We made a giant dance circle and showed off our fabulous American dance skillzzz!
