The next day (Monday) we took the longest/hottest bus ride ever. With a old yellow school bus not only filled with about 40 people, but also with about 50 tubs and our luggage, we drove about an hour and a half to Winneba Coast. The Atlantic Ocean was the perfect temperature to swim in. The waves were big enough to surf. Many of us thought we were going to drown when the waves engulfed us. Besides the skin/eye/nose burning salt, we had a lot of fun. We also made some awesome sand creations on myself and Paul.
After leaving the beach, we got back on the bus, wet and stinky for another 6 hours to Dunkwa. Upon arriving we were welcomed by 1400 students who were probably awaiting our arrival for several hours (we were really late due to road conditions and our overstay at the beach). Boa Ampossen is the secondary school we are currently staying at. The campus is very spacious and our accomendations are bomb. And the hospitality we recieve from the students and staff is beyond what we deserve.
Right now Ralph, Paul, and myself are in an internet cafe in Dunkwa. We're covered in sweat from the long walk we did around town. On the computer next to us are three Ghanaian guys watching an interesting Ghanaian soap opera thing. It looks pretty comical.
